Morning Prayer
If the heart stays young, old age can never become anything but ennobled thereby. Years do not make one grow old if one grows in grace. Decay does not belong to matter so much as to mind. Now I believe that if we kept our mind fixed on God, Life, Truth and Love, He will advance us in our years to a higher understanding and change our hope into faith, and our faith into spiritual understanding, and our words into works, and our ultimate faith into the fruition of entering into the Kingdom.

Daily Watch
28 — WATCH lest the apparent importance of handling and destroying error overshadow your realization, that the way to overcome darkness is to let in the light, or that following the spiritual and scientific sense of man constitutes your real progress, so that you feel you must cover every claim of error every day, in order to protect yourself properly. Such an attitude does not indicate the establishment and development of that trust in one’s spiritual perception, in which one relies on inspiration to unfold what needs to be done each day.
…. when an error has been seen as nothing, is it necessary for one to continue his effort in that direction, unless, of course, the suggestion of its reality once again encroaches upon thought?
Discussion points
Never become discouraged, dear ones. This work is not humdrum, it is growth. It is repeating and defeating, repeating and defeating, repeating and defeating.

Dying to Be Me: My Journey from Cancer, to Near Death, to True Healing by Anita Moorjani
Let unselfishness, goodness, mercy, justice, health, holiness, love — the kingdom of heaven — reign within us, and sin, disease, and death will diminish until they finally disappear.

Golden Text: John 3 : 17
“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
2. II Corinthians 6:2
…behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
SALVATION: The act of saving; preservation from destruction, danger or great calamity. Appropriately in theology, the redemption of man from the bondage of sin and liability to eternal death, and the conferring on him everlasting happiness. This is the great salvation.
The 1828 Webster’s Dictionary
“Salvation comes through knowing that the only God there is will not forsake us at any time. We must anchor ourselves in this thought, and acquaint ourselves with Life, Truth and Love…The only reality is, “God with us.”
Salvation comes to us through right mental activity, the activity of the Mind of Christ. God’s grace is sufficient for every need. We must know that good thoughts are power, and evil beliefs are powerless, when met with Truth.
It is our privilege to have all good now. Man is the understanding of God and is perfect. He has no capacity to receive or manifest error, sin, sickness, or death, in any form”…This is the operation of Truth. It is here at all times and in all ways.”
Excerpts from “Our Salvation” by Edward Kimball
3. 593 : 20-22
Salvation. Life, Truth, and Love understood and demonstrated as supreme over all; sin, sickness, and death destroyed.

…man’s spiritual being…
The Art of Being Glad by Bicknell Young
“April 8, l890 Our salvation is through Love. Call God Love always and bend all your efforts toward achieving perfect love in thought, word and deed. This is the way. All is won through it. Its presence gives me all. Its absence takes all away from me; therefore ‘Love is the fulfilling of the law.’ Love is heaven, and hate is hell.
Our only way to heaven is through Love; our sure way to hell is through hate.”

6. Psalm 46 : 4
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
"There is a river." Divine grace like a smoothly flowing, fertilising, full, and never-failing river, yields refreshment and consolation to believers. This is the river of the water of life, of which the church above as well as the church below partakes evermore. ….
The great fear of an Eastern city in time of war was lest the water supply should be cut off during a siege; if that were secured the city could hold out against attacks for an indefinite period. In this verse, Jerusalem, which represents the church of God, is described as well supplied with water, to set forth the fact, that in seasons of trial all-sufficient grace will be given to enable us to endure unto the end.”
This week I thought about the this river and tried to apply it to myself and others.
When we are faced with a so-called problem or challenge it is like a siege through mortal mind which wants to hold us captive.
The river of divine grace flows smoothly and lovingly around us (me and others), nourishing and protecting and cleansing us. It is flushing away the wrong conceptions, that something else than divine Love surrounds us.

23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
